Dr. Ali Ismail

Dr.Ing. Ali Ismail works as BIM expert in Dubai Municipality and actively involved in Dubai BIM Roadmap project and UAE buildingSMART chapter. He is playing a vital role driving digital transformation in construction industry in Dubai by contributing to the development of Dubau BIM roadmap, BIM standards and BIM e-Sumission platform. He holds a PhD degree in the field of construction project planing and Building Information Modelling from Germany. He has more than 15 years of experince in R&D and IT topics in AEC industry like Project Management, BIM, Rehabilitation Engineering (M.Sc. degree), Advanced Construction Project Planning using Simulation Methods (PhD. degree), Open BIM standards and Information Technology Applications in Civil Engineering.
