Mohammed Adib is the Chief Design Officer at Dewan Architects + Engineers. He joined Dewanin 2018. A graduate of architectural studies from the AA School of Architecture in London and interior architecture from EINA University School of Design and Art of Barcelona, Mohammed Adib has worked extensively around the world. During this time, he has directed projects throughout Europe, Asia and Africa. With more than 30 years of experience under his belt, he has worked on a range of projects, several of them located in the GCC, such as The Avenue Hotel, Shaza Mecca Hotel, a four-star hotel in Cultural Village, Cayan Cantara Towers, Zaharam Apartments, Shatt Al Arab Hotel, to name a few.
Mohammed’s in-house project for Dewan’s office in Dubai Design District was previously shortlisted for a prestigious architecture award. Most recently, Mohammed has helped to steer Dewan Architects + Engineers’ expansion in Southeast Asia, overseeing the opening of an office in Vietnam and the delivery of various residential and masterplanning projects. He is also responsible for helping to shape the firm’s metaverse strategy which includes the formation of its Metaverse Architecture Department (MAD).
Mohammed has also been called upon to judge several prestigious design awards such as being a jury member for the Frame Awards.
